Marta holds a degree of Master of Arts in Sociology and International Relations. At present, she is finishing postgraduate studies in HR at the Warsaw School of Economics as well as a Ph.D. on Polish migration policy at the University of Warsaw. She has had several years of professional experience in the field of migration. For nearly six years she worked as a migration specialist for International Organization for Migration (IOM). She implemented numerous projects and activities related to migrants’ integration in the Polish labour market and legalization of their residence and employment in Poland. For four years she worked as a research assistant at the Centre for Migration Research, University of Warsaw, where she implemented research projects on migration to Poland. She is an author of many publications on Polish migration and integration policy. She was also involved in the activities of non-governmental organizations working for migrants in Poland.
Tomasz graduated from the University of Maria Curie-Sklodowska in Lublin. He is an experienced advisor on legal regulations related to legal residence and employment of foreigners in Poland. At the Association for Legal Intervention (SIP), within the project implemented in partnership with the Department for Foreigners of the Mazowieckie Province Office, he advised on regulations on migrants’ residence in Poland. At the International Organization for Migration (IOM), the office in Warsaw, he provided assistance to migrants in difficult life situations. He cooperated with: Office for Foreigners, IOM missions around the world, the Border Guard, diplomatic missions. He has also a lot of experience in business gained by advising individual customers and companies employing foreigners on migrants’ residence and employment in Poland.
